One NDFB-S Cadre Apprehended in Assam’s Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar, August 2, 2019:

A joint operation launched by Indian Army’s 12 Sikh LI Regiment, 210 Cobra, 31 Bn SSB, Assam Police and Territorial Army; apprehended an National Democratic Front of Boroland- Sangbijit (NDFB-S) cadre.

The apprehended NDFB-S cadre has been identified as Dipak Basumatry alias B. Dwibai.

The team recovered one 7.65mm Pistol, two Rounds of live ammunitions and two hundred rupees note.

It is to be mentioned that the Security forces apprehended a cadre of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland-S at Labanyapur Ultapani on July 18 in Kokrajhar district of Assam.

The apprehended cadre has been handed over to the police and a case is being registered against him.
