DIBRUGARH: The Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Ltd (BCPL) organised the first cyclothon in Dibrugarh today as part of Saksham 2021 in association with few cycling clubs of Assam so as to create public awareness on oil and gas conservation, conservation of environment and physical fitness.
More than 500 cyclists, including few national level cyclists from Guwahati, participated in the event.
The 20.6 km long cyclothon culminated at BCPL, Lepetkatta here.

Dibrugarh deputy commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha, BCPL managing director Reep Hazarika, general manager (HR) Ashit Das, director (finance) Pruthiviraj Dash, chief operating officer RK Singh and senior officials of BCPL attended the function held at Chowkidinghee Field, Dibrugarh.
