Frustrated with the Assam government, United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) C-in-C Paresh Baruah has warned Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and BJP government for initiating police case against renowned intellectual Hiren Gohain.

The ULFA (I) leader has threatened that the CM to be ready to face dangerous circumstances if he does not stop acting against people’s interest of Assam. He asked Sonowal and his government try not to suppress the voices of intellectuals who have been speaking for the rights of the Assamese people as they have are living in a democratic country.

It may be mentioned that the Latasil Police has lodged an FIR against Hiren Gohain, for his speech seeking sovereign Assam.
