DHUBRI: Breaching Rs 100 mark per litre, Petrol price in Dhubri District of Assam reached at Rs 100.23, an all-time high.
At Rs 92.31 diesel price also reached an all-time high.
People from all the sections especially from the Middle and lower-middle-class sections have been complaining about the constant increase in petrol price.

Speaking to InsideNE, Dhubri District Congress Spokesperson Kazi Mahmadul Hassan said, "The BJP government came to power promising the people that they would lower the cost of petrol, diesel, and LPG gas, but instead of decreasing prices, they are increasing them without rhyme or reason."
Hasan also stated that by increasing the price of petroleum products, the state government is pushing the entire state into "Darkness."
