At a time when the whole state of Assam is being rocked by the Assam Police Sub Inspector exam scam, another police officer was apprehended in Morigaon district of the state by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for taking bribe. The police officer who has brought sHame to the force is Assistant Sub-Inspector Pankaj Bora posted in the police headquarter of Morigaon.

Bora had demanded a sum of Rupees 10 thousand from a person. The person lodged a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Bureau of the Assam Police. The Anti-Corruption Bureau laid a trap and caught Pankaj Bora red-handed when he was accepting the bribe from the person. The Anti-Corruption Bureau is now questioning the accused police officer Pankaj Bora. Bora is having an old track record of corruption when he was in the traffic police department.
