Three arrested for possession of brown sugar, vehicle seized

KARIMGANJ: Karimganj police personnel on Thursday seized 33 grams of suspected brown sugar and an Alto car from their possession and apprehended three persons from Badarpur and Patharkandi area of the district.

Karimganj police shared the information on Twitter, wrote, “In Cont... "#DrugsFreeKarimganj " Karimganj Police Team apprehended 3 people from Badarpur & Patharkandi area and recovered 33 gm of suspected to be brown sugar and seized one alto car from their possession.@assampolice @DGPAssamPolice @HardiSpeaks @gpsinghassam.”

Earlier this week, police seized around 12 grams of brown sugar and over 100 Yaba tablets from the house of one Habib Ali at Kurti village in the district after launching an operation based on specific information.
