Veteran Congress leader and Nagaon Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Pradyut Bordoloi on Thursday said that Assam Health & Family Welfare minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Himanta Biswa Sarma is worse than Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Bordoloi said that even Jinnah did not stoop down so low while doing communal politics for the Muslims before India’s independence. Bordoloi accused Sarma of resorting to derogatory remarks when it comes to politics. Bordoloi added that the Minister neither had any identity of himself nor any character. He also accused Sarma of being involved in all the scams when he was with the congress. Bordoloi also accused the BJP of having goon figured legislators and ministers.

It may be mentioned that Bordoloi has taken a dig on Himanta after the later’s remarks over the Congress-All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) alliance. Sarma had warned that such an alliance could potentially spell doom for the cultural sanctity of Assam. The Minister has also issued a warning that a Congress-AIUDF alliance could nominate perfume baron Badruddin Ajmal as the Chief Ministerial candidate of Assam.
