P&RD scam accused Rajib Pasashar sent to three days judicial custody

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Rajib Parashar who was arrested for his involvement in the P&RD scam has been sent to three days judicial custody. Parashar was arrested on Friday by Crime Branch for his alleged involvement in the various job scams.

The Crime Branch sought five days custody but the court gave three days custody.

It may be mentioned that Parashar has been allegedly extorting money from many candidates for several public service recruitment examinations.

However, Parashar has no involvement with the parallel investigation on the SI exam scam. The crime branch team also conducted a search operation in Parashar’s house in Guwahati’s six mile area.

The crime branch seized a large number of objectionable documents along with a vehicle numbered AS 01 BZ4000 from Parashar’s apartment.
