Prime accused of Dabaka gang-rape case arrested

The prime accused of Dabaka gang- rape case has been arrested by the police from Dhansiri area along the Assam-Nagaland border on Friday night.

The accused has been identified as Abdul Alim alias Alim Uddin who is the prime accused in relation to the gang-rape case of a minor girl which took place a month ago in Hojai district of Assam.

The police have arrested four people in relation to the case. Sahid Ahmed, Dilwar Hussain, and Gulab Hussain in relation to the incident on April 24 whereas, Abdul Matin, one of the accused is still absconding.
