GUWAHATI: Priyanka Das Rajkakoti, a space scientist and artist from Assam, has found a place in Forbes India's '30 Under 30' -- an annual list of India’s brightest young stars. Priyanka is now a part of the international Moon gallery project.
She is one among the few whose artworks will be showcased on the moon itself as part of the international project.
Forbes India, sharing the information wrote on Twitter, “#ForbesIndia30U30 Science & Innovation Category |@PriyankaSpace, 29, a space scientist-cum-artist was selected to send her art work to the moon as a part of an international Moon Gallery project. FULL list here.”
Priyanka in reply wrote, “Well! If hasn't been a great start to 2021! I owe this one big to all the people - friends and family - who've believed in my crazy dreams and constantly motivated me to touch the stars! @FranceinIndia @ISAE_officiel @Polytechnique #WomenInScience #artscience #womenintech.”

The Moon Gallery by ArtMoonMars, is an international collaborative artwork and a gallery of ideas worth taking to the Moon.
ArtMoonMars was initiated by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) set up the Committee for the Cultural Utilisation of Space (ITACCUS) to emphasise the importance of artists in space exploration.
