Programme on Rastriya Poshan Maah held

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 29, 2018:

A day-long orientation programme on “Rastriya Poshan Maah”, a scheme for the development of heath conditions of pregnant women under Poshan Abhiyan, was organised by the Department of Social Welfare, Assam in Guwahati on Wednesday.

The programme was organised as per the instruction of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.

Inaugurating the programme, Minister of Social Welfare Pramila Rani Brahma announced that the scheme would be launched in five districts including Goalpara, Dhubri, Nagaon, Karimganj and Darang.
