Public works department renamed as Lok Nirman Bibhag

In a recent development, name of the Public Works Department in Assamese language has been changed.

An official communication issued by the Public Works Building & NH (Establishment) Department stated, for administration convenience the department’s name in Assamese has been changed from Garhkaptani Bibhag to Lok Nirman Bibhag. The order has been implemented from Wednesday.
