Qamar-uz-Zaman's elder brother arrested

Guwahati (Assam), September 17, 2018:

The Assam Police have arrested suspected Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Qamar-uz-Zaman’s elder brother on Monday.

Police sources said his brother, Saiful Islam was detained by the police on Saturday and was being interrogated since then. On Monday after certain proceedings he was arrested by the police for further investigation.

Currently, the number of arrest in relation of the case has reached to eight and there are possibilities of more such persons being arrested.

It may be mentioned that Qamar-uz-Zaman was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday on suspicion of being a militant of the terror outfil Hizbul Mujahideen.

Further investigation on the issue is thoroughly being carried.
