Rajpal Yadav, Ash King to feature in Busu Dima Fest at Harangajao

HAFLONG: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav and singer Ash King will be prime attractions in the two-day weekend Busu Dima Festival at Harangajao in Dima Hasao district of Assam from tomorrow.

The event, organised on the occasion of Busu Dima festival of the Dimasa community, is also expecting performances by other artistes as well, including Zee Bangla’s Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa fame Chandrika Bhattacharya, leading Assamese singer Vreegu Kashyap and The Voice India Kids’ contestant Ridipta Sharma.

Busu Dima Festival organising committee sources said preparations were almost completed at the Public School ground in Harangajao for the biggest festival of the district.

The first day’s programme tomorrow will comprise cultural shows and sports. On the second day on Sunday, comedy actor Rajpal Yadav and other artistes will perform.

The organising committee said they were expecting the event to attract a huge footfall from different parts of Assam and the Northeast.

Organising committee president Subodh Langthasa and secretary Aman Maibangsa have appealed to the locals to participate in the programme to make it a “grand success”.
