Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary lays foundation stone for construction of road in Baksa

Guwahati, March 4, 2019:

Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary attended a foundation-stone laying ceremony for the construction of a 9-km long road in Baksa district’s Dhekiputa Naokata under the 2018-19 SPUD scheme on March 4 at 8 am.

MCLA Bijit Gaura Narzary, youth leader of BPF Jinaram Bodo, Suklai Cherafang, TCALCC’s President Rudru Subedi, Principal of Naokata Higher Secondary school Rabiram Brahma along with other prominent people also attended the auspicious occasion.

Speaking during the occasion, Daimary said that the BTC Government has undertaken numerous developmental schemes such as the construction of roads, improvements in the health sector and development of educational infrastructure under the guidance of BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary. He also lamented that despite all these developments, opposition parties are trying to create a rift between Bodos and non-Bodos, taking a jibe at Lok Sabha MP Naba Kumar Sarania.
