Ram Madhav or Ravan Madhav is doing propaganda of Hindutwabadi: Akhil Gogoi

Guwahati, January 19, 2019:

Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti leader Akhil Gogoi slammed Ram Madhav over his recent statements on the amendment of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

“Ram Madhav or Ravan Madhav, whoever it is in the Bharatiya Janata Party, is trying to flourish their “Hindutwabadi” agenda and destroy the vivid culture of the country in the name of establishing a “Hindu Rastra”. By dumping Hindu-Bangladeshi immigrants into Assam, they are trying to destroy the entire Axomiya community, thus, all the members of this community are protesting against the Bill,” alleged Gogoi.

“Today along with the Assam Sahitya Sabha, all the Tribal Sahitya Sabha, Yuva Parishads, Students’ Union, Krishak Sangathan, intellectuals, etc have all protested against this Bill but the BJP government is adamant over it. So we want to clear it from our part that if the Bill is tabled in the Rajya Sabha session, we will intensify our protest and for any misconduct only the Central Government will be responsible and no one will be able to stop Assam", the peasant leader added.
