PATACHARKUCHI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Assam state president Ranjeet Kumar Dass has filed nomination papers for Patacharkuchi constituency for the third phase of the Assam assembly polls.
He was accompanied by several senior leaders of the NDA-- chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal, BJP national vice President, and Assam In-Charge Baijayant Jay Panda.

CM Sonowal took to Twitter and expressing gratitude to the people of Patacharkuchi he wrote, “Great enthusiasm at the Padyatra in Patacharkuchi today as Shri @RanjeetkrDass filed his nomination papers for the Assembly polls. I thank the people for their massive presence and support towards @BJP4India.”
Senior Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary will also submit nomination paper shortly.
Today is the last day of withdrawal of nomination for the second phase of polls in the state.
