Sahitya Akademi Award for Anuradha Sarma Pujari & Mwdai Gahai from Northeast

GUWAHATI: Anuradha Sarma Pujari and Mwdai Gahai from Assam have done the state proud by being listed for the Sahitya Akademi award 2021.

While Sarma Pujari hs won the award for her novel ‘Iyat Ekhon Aronyo Asil’, Gahai has earned the laurel for the poetry collection ‘Khoro Sayao Arw Himalay.’

Awards in Gujarati, Maithili, Manipuri, and Urdu will be announced at a later date.
