SCHOOL UNIFORM SCAM IN HAILAKANDI DISTRICT

The District Mission Coordinator of Sarba Siksha Abhiyan, F.R Laskar has rejected the dress materials for uniform procured by Headmistress Rangauti Girls’ High School. An inspection was carried out on April 27th, in which he rejected the dress materials. The uniform made from it would be detrimental to the health and comforts of the students. He directed the headmistress to reprocure the dress materials as per specifications and to submit the same within three days. Laskar also warned that legal action would be initiated in case of her failure to comply to the order. Meanwhile, Hailakandi MLA, Anowar Hussain Laskar has alleged that a uniform scam has taken place in the district.
