Security Meet in Imphal : Assam Rifles

Imphal (Manipur), September 05, 2018:

A Security Coordination Meeting was conducted by the Assam Rifles to discuss the current security situation existing in the Area of Responsibility at Chandel in Imphal on Tuesday.

Altogether 32 civilians including village heads, Meira Paibis and members of Zila Parishad attended the meeting concerned about the security aspects.

According to the army release, “Feedback was taken from villagers towards the end regarding their basic requirements and steps to increase interaction between youths of these villages through career orientation program by Assam Rifles. Villagers thanked the Assam Rifles for providing assistance whenever required and assured that all measures to be adopted related to security so that there is no loss of life and property.”
