Senior congress leader arrested in connection with SI exam scam

The Assam Police has arrested an senior Congress leader Atab Ali in connection with the SI Exam scam.

The Assam Police launched an operation in Bajali in Nalbari district on Sunday night and nabbed the accused.

Atab Ali is reportedly an senior Congress leader who is also the secretary of the RTI Cell. He has contact with other accused in the SI exam scam. Many other Congress leaders are also suspected to be involved in the scam.

The Assam Police team recovered an admit card of the Assam Police SI recruitment test from Atab Ali’s residence.

Ali is currently being interrogated by the police in connection with the SI exam scam.
