A 28 member team completed 300 BRM Cycling Expedition organized by Audex International, a French organization. The expedition began at 5:30 am on Sunday from Guwahati to Akashi Ganga in Nagaon district.
One of the participants, senior journalist Pranay Bordoloi said, “I have cycled from Guwahati to Akashi Ganga in Nagaon district and back (in total 310 km ) within stipulated 20 hours. I started cycling at 5.30 am yesterday and returned back to Guwahati at 1 am today morning. In total, 28 cyclists completed the journey. Weather God was with us yesterday but it was raining heavily several times which made our journey a little bit difficult.”
BRM is an internationally recognized cycling event held in different cities of the world. In Guwahati, it was organized with the help of Guwahati Randoneurs, a city-based cycling club.
