Sensation prevails in Kokrajhar after recovery of woman’s dead body

Sensation prevailed along Bishmuri area in Kokrajhar district of Assam after the dead body was recovered on Tuesday morning. The body that of a woman was recovered  at Raai Jampwi near Bishmuri in mysterious condition.

After getting information from local villagers, police immediately rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Police later ascertained the identity of the deceased and informed her family members. Family members rushed to the spot and identified the deceased as Pramila Narzary aged 40. The deceased was an employee with the Sericulture department. She hailed from Nepalpara Serfanguri.

It may be mentioned that Pramila left her home for office on Tuesday morning. The body bore injury marks. Police has sent the body for post mortem and started its preliminary investigation.

Assam social welfare minister and local Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Pramila Rani Brahma rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation. Brahma strongly condemned the incident and demanded strict action against those involved in the crime.
