SON KILLS FATHER IN ASSAM

Leaving a appalling situation in Senchowa area of Nagaon district of Assam, a drunk son took away his fathers’ life when the later failed to cater to his sons’ demand. The accused Pankaj Das set his 60 year old father Jaykanta Das on fire. As his mother claimed, Pankaj demanded money from his parents two days back and when they failed to do so, he attacked his parents. Luckily, the mother somehow managed to escape. Though Jaykanta Das was rushed to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his burn injuries. Pankaj have been arrested by Nagaon police.
