Addressing the media, Sarma said, “We have considered his bravery and pray gratitude to the brave martyr. The state government will the best to support the family of the martyr and yesterday too we tried to come up with some help. Even in the future, the state government will try to give permanent employment to the family. We hope that the perpetrators involved in the incident get punished. Also through this incident, I hope the awareness on the state increases regarding the development of terrorist activities and stop the state from developing into second Kashmir.”
“Few issues have been dwelling in the state such as the influx of Rohingyas, which may be more than the number we are expecting. Few ‘Maulabadi’ organizations are also working for the settlement of these Rohingyas in which few Congress leaders are also involved. That is also a matter of concern because this raises the doubt of the existence of sleeper cell in the state as few perpetrators of another blast in different parts of the country belonged to our state as reported by the NIA,” he added.
