Stop Harassing Minorities in Assam: ABMSU

Guwahati: The All BTC Minority Students Association (ABMSU) demanding the government to stop the allegedly "harassment" on genuine minority citizens. 

The ABMSU stated that the minorities in the state are often tagged as foreigners even when they provide all evidence of them being genuine Assamese citizens. 

They further demanded that all unfair atrocities in the name of D voters tag on minorities should immediately be stopped. They also demanded for the review of all reference cases with the Border Police in connection with the minorities.

The ABMSU sat for a two-hour sit-in strike in Tamulpur when raising these demands.
