Suspected human trafficker arrested in Gohpur

Gohpur (Assam), September 17, 2018:

A woman suspected to be a human trafficker has been arrested by the Gohpur Police on Monday.

Sources said that the woman is alleged of abducting a 4-year-old minor girl and attempting to sell her to her contact in Naharlagun. She was arrested based on specific inputs with the police.

The rescued minor belongs to Tezpur’s Gutlung. The woman is being interrogated by the police and will be produce before the court on Tuesday.
