Suspected ULFA-I cadres surrenders today

Tinsukia, April 26, 2019:

In a recent development, dreaded militants of the rebel outfit United Liberation Front of Asom- Independent (ULFA-I) have surrendered on Friday.

Suspected cadre Manikant Sonowal alias Adarsh Asom has laid down arms and surrendered. According to reports, the cadre surrendered at 181 Mountain Brigade headquartered at Dinjan. He is a resident of Kakopathar Bormaithang village in Tinsukia district.

It may also be notified that two self-styled lieutenants of the militant outfit also surrendered in Assam. They are identified as Bhaskar Bora alias Thumung Asom alias Bhaiti Asom and Nijan Doley alias Ninja Asom alias Adarsh Asom.
