A free helpline for the students of Darrang district was launched by the All Assam Higher Secondary Graduate Teachers’ Association and the district administration on Sunday.
This service was launched by the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Darrang district Kalpana Deka and will be operational from Monday.
A 24-member group of teachers belonging to nine different subjects are involved with the helpline for offering free answers to any queries of the students within the district.
Speaking to InsideNe, ADC Kalpana Deka appreciated the teachers’ body for undertaking such effective project and appealed the teachers to sincerely carry forward the initiative taken.
