Terash Gowalla withdraws resignation

Guwahati, October, 25, 2018:

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Terash Gowalla withdrew his resignation on Wednesday night after meeting Chief Minister Sarbandana Sonowal at his Dibrugarh residence.

Sonowal reportedly assured Gowalla to post in the next reshuffle and returned to the party ending the long resignation drama.

Gowalla submitted his resignation to the CM on Tuesday after the State government approved the appointment of 10 legislators among 49 people as heads of corporations and boards on Monday night.
