Assam Education Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya on Wednesday announced that the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) qualified candidates for primary schools will be appointed soon after Magh Bihu celebrations.

The announcement was made by Siddhartha Bhattacharya through his Facebook handle. He wrote, “বিহুৰ পাছত আমি প্ৰাথমিক বিদ্যালয় সমূহৰ নতুন নিযুক্তিৰ কাম কাজবোৰ আৰম্ভ কৰিম । অনুগ্ৰহ কৰি আমাৰ সৈতে অলপ সহযোগিতা কৰক ।” (After Magh Bihu, we will initiate the new appointment of primary school teachers. Kindly cooperate with us a little.)

It is to be mentioned here that the Assam TET Examination 2019 results were declared on December 31.
As many as 18,905 candidates cleared the examinations in the Lower Primary level out of a total of 2,18,164 candidates who had appeared for the examinations. In the Upper Primary level, 15,304 out of 1,58,648 cleared the exams.
