The group has also planned to also organize a similar peace rally in Guwahati, Assam, soon.

He also appealed to the government to honor the Dalai Lama with Bharat Ratna.

Condemning China, Khrimey said that the recent clashes along the international border pointed to the "sinister designs" of the Chinese regime led by its President Xi Jinping.

The members of the organization also organized a programme at the War Memorial in Guwahati in Tuesday to pay tribute to Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the recent clashes on the Indo-China border.

It needs mention here that on June 15, 20 Indian soldiers and an unspecified number of Chinese soldiers were killed in violent face-off with Chinese army personnel at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh -- the most violent face-off between the two sides in several years.
