Tinsukia Police recovers buried USA made pistol

Guwahati, November 17, 2018:

The Tinsukia Police on Friday night recovered a 7.65 mm Made in USA pistol along with ammunition which were buried by a suspected robber in Tinsukia.

As per sources, the firearm and ammunition were recovered based on the confession by a robbery accused, Polash Changmai. The police officials based on his confession searched some areas near the highway with the assistance of CRPF and their sniffer dogs. During the search operation, the police recovered the firearm buried deep inside near the highway.

The police are currently investigating the complete issue.
