The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has announced that it will contest at the upcoming Panchayat Elections in Assam.
Firhad Hakim, cabinet minister of the West Bengal Government announced that the TMC will contest in the Panchayat Polls.
He speaking to the media said that he doesn’t know why the Assam government is taking “so long” to investigate theDhola killings.
He claimed that he feels that not only the Bengalis but many other communities in Assam are also insecure under the Sonowal-led government.
It may be mentioned that a total of 1,56,41,456 voters will go for polling and a total of 23,505 polling stations will be set up in the state. Out of these 8243 polling stations are ‘sensitive’ while 3665 as ‘very sensitive’.
