Train services affected due to Bandh and Rain in NE

Guwahati (Assam), September 10, 2018:

Nine express and passenger train services have been detained and delayed due to picketers obstructing tracks at various stations in Lumding and Tinsukia division of NF Railway on Monday.

As per a statement by the NF Railways, “Seven other trains has been cancelled, two trains short terminated and four trains have been diverted because of damage to tracks due to heavy rain in Alipurduar Division on Sunday night.”

The trains that have been cancelled are train no. 55726 Dn/ 55725 Up (Alipurduar Siliguri passenger), Train no. 15768 Dn/ 15767 Up (Alipurduar-Siliguri intercity Express), Train no. 15765 Up/ 15766 Dn (Aliguri-Dhubri Intercity Express), Train no. 55465 Alipurduar Bamanhat Passenger) and Train no. 55467 Up/ 55468 Dn (Siliguri Bamahat Express).

The trains that have been diverted are: Train no. 15483 Dn (Sikkim- Mahananda Express), Train no. 13149 Up (Kanchan Kanya Experess), Train no. 12348 Up (Capital Express) and Train no. 15661 Up (Rachi Express).
