Truck driver’s daughter Pushpa secures 10th position in Assam 12th boards

Nagaon, May 25, 2019:

In the 12th board examination declared by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), Pushpa Gupta from Concept Junior College of Nagaon secured the 10th position scoring 468.

Pushpa Gupta is a daughter of a truck driver residing near Haiborgaon Railway Station.

Pushpa’s father expresses happiness over daughter’s good result and also sadness for not being able to provide the necessary environment for her study.

Meanwhile, Pushpa desires to be a doctor in the near future.

It is to be mentioned that in the Science stream, Sayan Mazumdar from Darrang College of Sonitpur and Bitupan Arandhara from Ramanujan Junior College of Nagaon have jointly secured the 1st position scoring 478 marks.

The 2nd position has been jointly secured by Daisy Pathak from Silchar Govt. Boys HS School of Cachar and Dishant Saikia from Tezpur Bengali Boys HS School of Sonitpur, scoring 477 marks.

The 3rd position has been secured by Hridi Priyam Sarmah from Ramanujan Junior College of Nagaon scoring 476 marks.
