Silchar, Nov.9: Movement of trucks with essentials have started moving to Mizoram from Assam's side of the inter border at Lailapur on Monday.
Disclosing this important development on the border front, Circle Officer, Sonai, Sudeep Nath said 21 numbers of trucks laden with essential commodities with police escorts and passenger vehicles have started moving to Mizoram on Monday. Nath also informed that empty trucks which were stranded also have begun plying from the other side of the border. It is after 12 days that vehicular traffic have started plying across the inter state border.
