Twenty one Bangladeshi nationals to be deported from Assamarrested

Guwahati, January 19, 2019:

Concerned authorities will deport twenty one Bangladeshi nationals today through legal procedures from Sutarkandi Border in Assam's Karimganj district.

Among the 21, 19 are male and 2 are female who entered the state through different borders of the state at different times. They were apprehended earlier and after serving their sentence, they are scheduled to be deported today.

It may be mentioned that on Friday, 20 suspected Bangladeshi immigrants were detained by Police in Pengeri area under Doom Dooma. The suspected immigrants, who did not possess any valid citizenship documents, were apprehended by locals when they were clueless and roaming around the area.

Moreover, 30 suspected Bangladeshis immigrants were detained in Jorhat district’s Nakachari area while 25 more suspected Bangladeshis were arrested by the police in Tinsukia.
