Two arrested for Army man's murder in Nagaon

Guwahati, October 28, 2018:

The Nagaon Police have arrested two more persons on Saturday for allegedly being involved in the murder of retired army man Dwipen Nath in Nagaon's Khatowal Gaon.

Police sources informed that the persons, Rajib Banik and Sultan Ali were arrested based on the confessional statement by another accused Pranab Nath. Rajib was arrested by Kakatigaon, Raha and Sultan was arrested from a dhaba on the highway.

The police also recovered the pistol and motorcycle that was used during the crime from Tamulpur in Baksa District.

Sources also informed that Nath was allegedly shot from point blank range by Rajib.
