ULFA-I applauds Hima Das

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 27, 2018:

The United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I) applauds Hima Das over the victory in 400 metre race on Sunday.

The ULFA-I appealed the supporters of the sprinter not to pressurize her and rather give her the atmosphere to focus on her game.

On Sunday, Hima registered timing of 50.79 seconds and came second to Salwa Naser of Bahrain who clocked 50.09 seconds. Hima’s timing of 50.79 seconds is a national record. She will next compete in 200-mtr and 400-mtr relay.
