New Delhi, November 10, 2019:

The audience at the seventh North East Festival, that is currently being held in New Delhi, were pleasantly surprised when a batch of underprivileged kids took to the stage to perform Sattriya.

What is truly baffling is that these tiny dancers were neither from Assam nor were they privileged. Meenakshi Medhi, who originally hails from Guwahati, guided the kids from Noida and taught them the classical dance form from Assam.
