The United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has denied the allegations leveled against party chief Pramod Boro by former UPPL CWC member and RTI activist Prithibhiraj Narayan Dev Mech, saying the allegations are totally baseless.

Addressing media persons at a press conference on Tuesday in Kokrajhar, party secretary and spokesperson, Wilson Hasda told that Dev Mech who was sacked from the party for his anti-partyactivities recently and his allegations leveled against Pramod Boro are totally baseless. He said that no one party member had been engaged to meet Kokrajhar Lok Sabha MP and president of GSP Naba Kumar Sarania for alliance for ensuing BTC election. He claimed that UPPL party will contest in all 40 seats of the BTC legislative assembly with its own candidates. He said that there is no word of alliance with GSP from UPPL in the elections and no discussion was held in this regard as Dev Mech has claimed.

Hasda said that UPPL party was working for the all round development and welfare of the people of the BTC region since its inception and today citizens from all walks of life are extending supports to the UPPL in the ensuing BTC council elections and the party will winning majority of seats to form next BTC council.

Hasda accused Dev Mech of being involved in anti-party activities while he was an member of the party and passed unwarranted remarks as well addressed several press conferences without the consent of the party leaders. Dev Mech was sacked by party central leadership for his anti-party activities.
