Uproar in ALA after Congress protests over increasing fuel price

Guwahati (Assam), September 24, 2018:

The autumn session of the Assam Assembly was adjourned for ten minutes after uproar took place as the Congress started protested over the continuous fuel price hike within the session hours on Monday.

The Congress legislature protested holding play cards in front of the speaker demanding immediate action against the day-by-day increasing petrol and diesel prices.

While the congress legislature was protesting, the BJP legislatures moved to oppose them. As a result uproar took place within the house and the speaker was bound to adjourn the session for ten minutes.
