Veteran journalist Prafulla Rajguru passes away

Guwahati, March 27, 2019:

In a major setback to the field of journalism, noted journalist and renowned educationist, Prafulla Rajguru has passed away today morning.

As per reports, the veteran journalist breathed last in Jorhat at Mission Hospital. He was admitted in the hospital a day before.

Prafulla Rajguru served as the residential editor of Jorhat edition of the highly circulated news daily ‘Amar Axom”. He was also associated with the field of literature and social activities in the state.

Assam's Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, paying tribute to the departed soul, said: “The loss Assam had in the field of literature cannot be easily filled and his contribution will be remembered by all.”
