VICE PRESIDENT VENKAIAH NAIDU VISITS AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY IN JORHAT

Vice President pays visit to  the Agricultural University in Jorhat today

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on his three day tour visited the Agricultural University in Jorhat on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee celebrations today. The celebrations also witnessed the presence of the Governor of Assam Prof Jagdish Mukhi, Member of Parliament Kamakhya Prasad Tassa and Agricultural Minister, Atul Bora.

The Vice President arrived at Guwahati airport on Monday where he was welcomed by Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi, Assam Minister for PHE, Rihon Daimary, Assam DGP Mukesh Sahai besides others. Thereafter, he visited Meghalaya. This was his maiden visit to Meghalaya.
