“I am always with people who are standing up against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill as I always will be. We had a large gathering yesterday to attend which I had come in a hurry from Tezpur. This revolt will continue, and in fact will gain momentum.”
The musician also added that people have to protect their territory like tigers. “Be a tiger. No use living like jackals”, said Zubeen Garg.
The heartthrob also stated that people have to be alerted to the problematic Bill. “We have to awaken the rural people, we have to go to grassroots level as that is how upheavals begin”, he added.
“The Ministers, MLAs and MPs at the Centre, they need to understand us and our wishes, the wishes of the people.The protests will grow in intensity if the Bill is passed”, the crooner warned.
