The Ugratara Temple Management Committee on Saturday said that it will move to the Gauhati High Court regarding the theft case of the centuries-old idol of Goddess on last Friday.
The committee said, “We appeal to all the advocates not to support or present any of the thieves arrested in relation with the theft case,” said the temple committee members.
The missing idol iss made of ostadhatu and it is considered to be one of the 52 holiest places for the Hindu religion in India.
The temple committee members said that they have got no trust in the investigation.
