Will Make Himanta Biswa Sarma the CM candidate of AIUDF: Ajmal

All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Maulana Badruddin Ajmal has claimed that he will make Himanta Biswa Sarma the chief minister candidate if he (Sarma) leaves BJP and joins AIUDF.

Baddruddin Ajmal speaking to the media said that once Himanta Biswa Sarma was his very good friend. “He was a very good friend of mine when he was in Congress but once he became a top leader of the BJP and the RSS, our friendship broke”, he added.

He added, “I will make him the CM candidate of AIUDF if he decides to leave BJP in order to honour our old friendship.”
