Woman attacked by Father-in-Law with Dao in Sonapur

Guwahati, November 11, 2018:

A woman was gravely injured as her father-in-law allegedly attacked her with a 'dao' on Sunday in Sonapur, Kamrup (M).

According to the locals, the father-in-law, Bidur Bharali had a quarrel his daughter-in-law over some family related issues. Following a heated arguement Bidur took out a sharp dao and attacked his daughter-in-law.

The woman was saved by the locals and other family members but was severely injured. She was immediately taken to the GMCH in a very critical condition.

The police was also informed about the issue and following a primary investigation, the police arrested Bidur Bharali.

The police are also investigating the complete issue.
