Youth Abducted from KA rescued in Hojai

Guwahati, November 28, 2018:

A youth who was abducted by suspected militants from Karbi Anglong few days ago has been rescued by the police from Hojai's Murajhar on Wednesday.

The youth identified as Babul Deb was abducted by suspected militants who are yet to be identified. The Police based on specific inputs succeeded in rescuing the youth from Murajhar.

However, the police could not trace any abductors. The statement of the youth is being examined and arrests are to be made based on these statements.
